Take an archaeological adventure each Friday as we host field trips to the Hampton-Preston Mansion.

Moonlight Cemetery Tours
July 18, August 16 & September 15 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Hear stories and tales of one of Columbia’s most significant historical burial sites as costumed guides lead this tour. The tour will provide interesting details about burials, cemetery plots, and tombstones of families and prominent citizens from Columbia’s 19th and early 20th century.

Family Day: Sizzlin' Summer Fun
July 26 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Enjoy summer games and activities, including water relays and making hand-made ice cream on the lawn of the historic Robert Mills House.

Diggin' History: Members Only Event

30th Annual Jubilee: Festival of Heritage

Celebrating 30 years of cultural heritage and living history, Historic Columbia Foundation will present JUBILEE on the grounds of the historic Mann-Simons Cottage and at the neighboring Modjeska Monteith Simkins House.

Teacher Appreciation Reception

Historic Columbia Foundation will host area school teachers and provide information about our school programs, Traveling Trunk series, tours, and other upcoming events.

Fall Lecture Series
Tuesdays, September 16 - October 21
Historic Columbia Foundation will offer “People, Places, and Progress of Early Columbia, 1600–1858,” a six-part lecture series presented by Dr. Warner Montgomery, local historian and publisher, to the public in the fall.

Scarecrow Exhibit
