To complement the visitor and museum amenities at the Robert Mills House, the landscape will continue to be maintained as a park-like setting. The front lawn will retain its naturalistic characteristics, and the formal beds and Founders' Garden will be used to emphasize heritage plants and plant conservation and sustainable planting practices. Future exhibits and signage throughout the property will reflect the broad spectrum of Southern garden history.
