Renovated in 2007 according to a design by A. Jenkins Farmer, the landscape incorporates native and exotic plantings that recall the Colonial Revival mindset of the early 20th-century, while examples of pass-along plantings and newly established pathways and hardscape mesh with their historic antecedents. In partnership with Columbia Green, Historic Columbia Foundation has established the Seibels Garden as the initial step in realizing the master plan for the Robert Mills Garden District.
