Grounds of the Woodrow Wilson Family Home

Surrounding the only home built and owned by the parents of Woodrow Wilson was a landscape purportedly influenced by the tastes of the future president’s mother Jesse Wilson. Likely inspired by the then-popular designs of Andrew Jackson Downing, the landscape included a presentable, public entrance to the home as well as working yards that supported the family's occupancy during Reconstruction Era.
