Grounds of the Woodrow Wilson Family Home

Based on archaeological exploration as well as oral histories, this site will be reconstructed as a Victorian-era landscape including clearly divided front and back yards. Incorporating 19th-century elements such as magnolias, deodar cedar and tea olive, the front yard will reflect an Andrew Jackson Downing inspired front yard. The back yard, which once included a kitchen and a stable, will display vegetable and flower gardens as well as a work yard.
