Join Historic Columbia at Jubilee: Festival of Black History & Culture from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17. Now in its 44th year, this free outdoor festival brings musicians, artisans, dancers and storytellers together to celebrate South Carolina’s Black history and culture on the grounds of the Mann-Simons Site.
Jubilee is a celebration everyone can enjoy and features live music and entertainment, artist demonstrations, and marketplace vendors selling a variety of ware, products and art. Come hungry, because there will also be vendors selling food, non-alcoholic beverages, and beer and wine.
Please note concealed firearms are prohibited at the festival.

Keke Wyatt to headline 2022 Jubilee
Historic Columbia is excited to announce that R&B artist Keke Wyatt will headline the entertainment lineup for the 44th annual Jubilee: Festival of Black History and Culture on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Mann-Simons Site at 1403 Richland Street. Keke Wyatt will bring her confident vocals to the festival as one of R&B's most dynamic vocalists. In 2000 at age 15, Wyatt first gained popularity after a collaboration with R&B singer Avant on the single “My First Love,” which remained a top 10 song in the U.S. for several weeks. Her platinum debut album, Soul Sista, was released in 2001 by MCA records and earned its spot at number 33 on the Billboard 200 after selling over a million copies. Since then, Wyatt has released four albums, Who Knew (2006), Unbelievable (2011), Rated Love (2016), Keke Covers (2017), and an EP in 2014 titled Ke’Ke featuring Neyo and Cristyle. In 2012, Wyatt joined TV One’s reality show, R&B Divas: Atlanta. The show documented the lives of five 1990s R&B singers as they worked to rebuild their careers in Atlanta, Ga. Wyatt and her husband, Michael Ford, joined the cast for the sixth season of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars on WE TV.
