Join Historic Columbia as we explore the architectural charm and local stories of the Hollywood–Rose Hill neighborhood. Founded in 1914 and 1924, respectively, the area features classic bungalows, distinctive mail-order kit homes, and work by renowned Columbia architect J. Carroll Johnson. This one-mile stroll brings to life the people and places that shaped one of Columbia’s early suburban communities. This tour lasts approximately 75 minutes and will begin and end at Hollywood Park.

Tickets

Only 20 tickets are available. Online ticket sales end at 12:00 p.m. on the Friday before the tour and no walk-up tickets are available.
HC member: $5
Non-member: $10
Youth 17 and under: Free
Parking

Walking tour attendees can park for free in the Rose Hill Presbyterian Church parking lot, located adjacent to Hollywood Park. Additionally, free street parking is available on the streets surrounding Hollywood Park. Please be mindful of residents’ driveways. This tour includes standing and walking several blocks on sidewalks and neighborhood streets.
Refunds

This tour will take place rain or shine. However, if there are thunderstorms in the neighborhood the tour will be canceled, and you will be contacted at the email address with which you register to receive either a refund or a ticket for a future walking tour. If the tour proceeds as planned, no refunds will be offered.
