Scarecrows in the Garden Registration Deadline

The deadline to enter is September 28!

Enter your historical, ghoulish or traditional scarecrows in Historic Columbia’s annual Scarecrows in the Garden contest to compete for cash, trophies and tour passes. The contest is open to individuals, families, artists, businesses, schools and organizations. Participants are welcome to enter more than one scarecrow. Registration officially opens Tuesday, Sept. 5 and will close on Thursday, Sept. 28. All scarecrows, including a variety from local Midlands artists, will be on display on the grounds of the Robert Mills House & Gardens throughout the month of October. The exhibit is free and open to public during normal Historic Columbia hours, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday and 1 – 5 p.m. Sunday. Vote throughout the month for the “People’s Choice Award” and “Best Class Crow” by visiting the Gift Shop at Robert Mills!
