Weddings and Receptions
Create a wedding experience that unfolds throughout the property. Exchange vows in the ceremony garden, gather beneath the trees for cocktails, and continue the celebration inside the historic house or across the lawn.
Showers and Celebrations
Seibels House provides an intimate and welcoming setting for bridal and baby showers, engagement parties, birthdays, anniversaries, graduation celebrations, and family gatherings.
Meetings and Private Events
Bring colleagues, clients, donors, or community partners together in a setting with more warmth and character than a traditional meeting room. The house is well suited for retreats, presentations, luncheons, receptions, and appreciation events.
A Historic Columbia Landmark
Dating to approximately 1796, Seibels House is one of Columbia’s oldest surviving buildings. Between 1800 and 1865, the site was home to intendant mayors, attorneys, war veterans, a railroad surveyor, and the people they enslaved. Today, it serves as both Historic Columbia’s headquarters and a welcoming place for gatherings, with rental revenue supporting the preservation of historic places across Columbia and Richland County.
