Historic Columbia Announces Entertainment Lineup for the 46th Annual Jubilee: Festival of Black History and Culture

Historic Columbia is thrilled to announce that R&B and soul singer Sunshine Anderson will headline the entertainment lineup for the 46th annual Jubilee: Festival of Black History and Culture on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Mann-Simons Site at 1403 Richland Street. Jubilee 2024 is presented by Ambetter from Absolute Total Care.
Sunshine Anderson is an American singer-songwriter from Charlotte, NC. Her debut album, Your Woman, was released in April 2001, debuting at No. 8 on Billboard's Hot 200 and No. 2 on Top R&B charts. By the end of the year, the album was certified gold and produced two charting singles, "Heard It All Before" and "Lunch or Dinner." Anderson has since released two more studio albums showcasing her neo-soul style.
In addition to Sunshine Anderson, Historic Columbia has an exciting entertainment line-up planned for Jubilee. Other confirmed performers include Master Splnta, Nahi Gruv, TiffanyJ, Black Nerd Mafia, Bhakti Larry Hough, and DJ Kelly Kel, plus and a fashion show featuring Stoi’s Atelier clothing company.

Now in its 46th year, this free outdoor festival brings musicians, artisans, dancers and storytellers together to celebrate South Carolina’s Black history and culture on the grounds of the Mann-Simons Site.
