What spaces are available for photoshoots and elopements?
Historic Columbia’s outdoor spaces are open to the public free of charge during regular operating hours: Monday–Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., and Sunday, 1:00–4:00 p.m. The Seibels House Gardens are open to the public Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Photography sessions scheduled outside of public operating hours or within an indoor space require a rental reservation and are available at an hourly rate. Indoor spaces available include Seibels House, Boyd Foundation Horticultural Center, and the Carriage House at Robert Mills. Inquire for pricing and availability here.
Do I have to schedule my photoshoot or elopement?
Yes, please notify us of your planned garden visit. Our Rentals team will let you know of any events, maintenance, or other program/activity that may affect access to the gardens.
Can I have a photoshoot inside of one of your museums?
No, photoshoots are not allowed inside of any HC historic house museums.
