Rentals Coordinator
Carl Cox joined the Historic Columbia staff as the Rental Coordinator in 2024. He has over 15 years of experience working for non-profit organizations in the Carolinas. In his various positions, he coordinated many types of events and quickly realized bringing people together for a special, memorable experience was a passion. In his free time, Carl enjoys hiking, playing tennis (or pickleball) and watching stand-up comedians.
Rentals Office Assistant
Scotty started at Historic Columbia in February 2024 as a Rental Assistant and, in November 2024, stepped in as the Rentals Office Assistant. Originally from Charleston, he obtained his B.A. in Anthropology from University of South Carolina in 2023. He is passionate about cultural resource management, striving to make these spaces accessible today, while ensuring they'll be around tomorrow.
