As a corporate partner, your organization becomes part of a greater preservation and advocacy movement - and connects to a growing community of donors, historians, scholars and other organizations. Support may be provided through membership, event and program sponsorships, general donations and in-kind donations. Your corporate support helps utilize history to build an investment in our future.
Corporate membership ensures that we are able to promote and preserve our local history. As a member, your organization helps us harness the power of history to inspire and catalyze social activism aimed at improving the quality of life in Columbia and Richland County.
Event & Program Sponsorships
Partner with us on a variety of our annual events, including Bluegrass, Bidding & BBQ, the Chili Cook Off, Jubilee: Festival of Black History & Culture, Historic Holidays, lectures, Preservations Awards, tours and more! We'll happily tailor sponsorships to meet your specific needs.
General operating support helps with special projects and may be directed to different areas of focus, including education, cultural resources and special projects. Your financial support is not only an investment in preserving Columbia's past, but also its future. Help us to keep history alive in the hearts and minds of Richland County residents.
An in-kind sponsorship is a great way to introduce your products and/or services to a diverse audience while supporting Historic Columbia. While our needs vary for special projects, the garden restoration and several signature events, in-kind donations of beverages, catering, landscaping supplies and services are always gratefully accepted.
To learn more or to customize giving based on your company's needs and interests, please contact Megan Plott, Director of Development, at 803.252.7742 x 12.
Thanks to support from AgFirst, we recently launched a new public facing garden database. This database represents the wide variety of plants on the 14 acres of gardens we manage. Our horticulture experts use this tool to track our inventory of plants. We hope you find it interesting to browse the plants we have cultivated over the years - some may also be in your own backyard!
