The circa-1871 boyhood home of Woodrow Wilson and South Carolina’s only remaining presidential site, the gardens at the Woodrow Wilson Family Home are inspired by Italian-villa stylings with a charming, relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for more intimate events, such as smaller weddings, receptions, and business functions. Learn more about the history of this site.

This venue is currently undergoing renovations and will be ready to host your event in Spring 2024. Contact our Rental Coordinator to discuss available dates.

Amenities & Capacity

    • Peaceful main lawn with swooping fir trees and benches
    • Additional gravel reception area, complete with tie-down anchors and grapevines
    • Newly renovated catering prep kitchen
    • 4 newly renovated restrooms
    • Access to electricity throughout gardens
    • HC staff on-site for duration of event
  • Capacity: 250

    Please Note: This is an outdoor only venue; the historic home is a museum and not available for rentals.
