Each summer, Historic Columbia holds two sessions of a summer day camp where history comes to life through interactive activities and exploration of the gardens, grounds, and houses of Historic Columbia. Campers ages 8 to 12 are invited to take an adventure in time as we explore what it was like to live in the past!
The Roaring '20s!
Summer campers will be transported back in time through interactive activities, and exploration of the gardens, grounds and houses at Historic Columbia. You don’t have to be keen on history to have a swell time with us this summer! Campers ages 8 to 12 are invited to take an adventure in time as we explore the Roaring ‘20s. Participants will be the coolest cats in town after they learn all the popular dance moves of the decade, use all their wits and skills of deduction to solve whodunit, dabble in science to make their own rock candy, explore their business savvy on the stock market (who will survive the crash?!), and more!
Summer Camp is $200 for Historic Columbia members and $220 for non-members.
*Please Note: Parents have the option to pick their children up at 5:30 instead of 4:00 for an additional $40.
“These guys are fabulous at everything they do and the summer camp for kids further emphasized that. My daughter does summer day week camps all summer and has for years and this is the best we've ever seen. Super creative ideas and so much fun in a beautiful setting. Plus the counselors are fantastic... Laid back but organized. Highly, highly recommend. Can't wait for next year!” — Steph Zschunke Bilovsky
