Tour historic houses and learn how families in Columbia celebrated the holiday season with historic traditions from 18th through the 19th centuries! Children will make holiday crafts that reflect the variety of traditions practiced by residents in Columbia throughout the holiday season. Separate crafts appropriate for young learners ages 2-4 will also be available so that everyone can participate in the holiday merrymaking! This event is designed for children ages 2-12, and will last approximately one hour. At least ONE adult chaperone is required to participate with each family group.
This event will require timed ticket entries to ensure maximum social distancing and the safety of our participants. Participants will need to purchase a timed ticket in advance, we will not offer walk-up registration for this event. When you select “buy tickets” at the top of this page you can choose from the available times by clicking “Other times:” under “Selected time”.
Participants are encouraged to show up 5-10 minutes in advance of their designated entry time. Due to the timed ticket system, we will not be able to allow participants to start late and cannot guarantee additional timed slots will be available if you are late. If participants show up late, it is possible you will not be able to participate in the family day program and your tickets will be refunded.
Face masks are required for all adults and children 11 and over in accordance with City of Columbia’s ordinance.
