Museum of the Reconstruction Era at the Woodrow Wilson Family Home : 1705 Hampton Street, Columbia, SC 29201

Updated May 28: The weather for Thursday looks good, so we have added additional advance purchase tickets. Tickets will also be on sale at the venue for $20.

Performers from the South Carolina Philharmonic will join Historic Columbia to present a beautiful concert of light classics in the gardens at The Museum of the Reconstruction Era at the Woodrow Wilson Family Home.

Please plan to arrive any time after 6:00 p.m. The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. and last an hour. Bring your own blanket or chairs, and pack a picnic if you'd like (alcohol is permitted). No food or beverage vendors will be on site. 

Tickets are required and space is limited. Please note that this event is for those 21 & over. 

The Museum of Reconstruction Era at the Woodrow Wilson Family Home is located at 1705 Hampton Street. Please enter the venue via Henderson Street.

  • Refunds

    Refunds are not available. In case of inclement weather, the concert will proceed inside the Boyd Horticultural Center, located at the rear of the Hampton-Preston Mansion & Gardens (3 blocks away).

  • Parking

    There is ample street parking surrounding the venue, Metered parking is free after 6:00 p.m., unless otherwise marked; unmetered parking is located on Pickens, Henderson, or Blanding streets. Please follow all posted signage regarding street parking. Enter the concert via the back gate of the Museum of the Reconstruction Era, located on Henderson Street. 

    If you need accessibility parking, there are two parking spaces available inside the back gate of the Museum of the Reconstruction Era. Additionally, there will be several parking spaces on Henderson Street marked for additional assistance. Please arrive early if you require additional assistance.
