1612 Crestwood Drive
Built in 1928 by J. Frank Bailey, Inc. as 212 Crestwood, this residence was initially rented by Wesley B. and Allie Culbertson Edgar, although the couple purchased the property in 1933. Wesley Edgar worked as a traveling auditor for Broad River Power Company and then later as comptroller for South Carolina Electric & Gas Company (SCE&G). The couple moved to 1720 Maplewood Drive by 1942.
