Blaess Wedding

Surrounded by friends and family, Caitlin and Jack tied the knot on June 16, 2018.

After an intimate, worship-filled ceremony at Northeast Presbyterian Church, wedding guests headed over to the Seibels House for a garden cocktail hour. The venue was decorated in dainty shades of blush, navy and white with hints of gold. Hydrangeas in ginger jars and pale wood lanterns with flickering candles added a whimsical feel to the intimate garden spaces. Inside the home, gold jars with tealight candles and strands of greenery adorned the mantles. Delectable appetizers were served in the black-and-white tiled sunroom by Doc’s BBQ. Everyone was welcomed to grab a drink in personalized koozies at the bar, manned by Liquid Assets. After dinner service was opened, guests enjoyed time to dine and mingle while awaiting the arrival of the newlyweds.

Blaess WeddingElsewhere, the new Mr. and Mrs. Blaess (pronounced “blaze”) took photos with their wedding party at the Robert Mills House & Gardens. Shot by the talented Courtney Price, the photos turned out beautifully! The bridesmaid’s pale blush dresses complimented the guys’ navy suits. Caitlin looked stunning in her classic, laced trim veil and pinned up curls. Her timeless ivory dress with a sweetheart neckline and white hydrangea bouquet exuded a delicate beauty. After catching some fun moments on the front lawn with the parents, wedding party, and even their dog, Caitlin and Jack retreated to the Founder’s Garden for some more intimate shots. Then, it was time to head over to Seibels House and get the party started!

Following their beloved wedding party, Caitlin and Jack made their way on to the black-and-white dancefloor provided by Party in a Tent. A quick glance around revealed few dry eyes as the new couple danced together and then with their doting parents. Toasts from the best man and father of the bride further emphasized the amount of love pouring through the gardens that night. After a quick trip inside the house to cut the delicious cake provided by Jennifer Janco, guests were invited onto the dancefloor. Party Time DJs kept people moving with classic pop hits until it was time for the send-off. The happy couple drove away in a classic convertible to prepare for their upcoming honeymoon in Jamaica!
