Historic Columbia is pleased to announce Cory J. France as its new director of marketing and communications.
In this role, France will lead Historic Columbia’s marketing department and will serve as a spokesperson for the organization.

France comes to Historic Columbia from the South Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault (SCCADVASA), where he served as communications manager. Prior to joining SCCADVASA, France worked as chief brand officer/strategic planner for Sinkler Southeast Bonding Co. He also has worked in communications for the National Alliance of State & Territorial AIDS directors and as a digital media consultant and community manager for Adams Morgan Partnership Business Improvement District.
He holds a bachelor of arts in communication and culture from Howard University and a master of arts in strategic communication from American University. France also serves on the South Carolina Governor’s School Alumni Advisory Council.
