Preservation Workshop | Restoring Historic Windows

Thompson Cottage : 1627 Richland Street, Columbia, SC 29201

Historic Columbia and Vintage Window Repair will hold a hands-on window restoration workshop at the Thompson Cottage on Saturday, October 13.

The workshop, led by Sean Stucker, director of facilities at Historic Columbia, and Staci Rachey, owner and operator of Vintage Window Repair, will begin with an instructional discussion exploring reasons to restore historic windows and techniques for doing so. Participants will have the chance to learn techniques to use in the hands-on portion of the workshop. Light breakfast is included and tools and protective gear will be provided. The workshop will take place at Thompson Cottage located adjacent to the Seibels House.
