Go behind the scenes with Historic Columbia and explore a historic Five Points landmark!

Claussen's Bakery was built in 1928 for George Frederick Claussen, the grandson of a German immigrant who had previously established a steam bakery in Charleston. Until it ceased operation in 1963, Claussen's made significant contributions to the industrial and commercial development of Columbia. Learn more about the origins of this building, its evolution in the 20th century, and how the project’s current owners plan to bring new life to Five Points with boutique residential apartments at this exclusive behind-the-scenes tour. Food and wine by Cellar on Greene will be available before and after the tour.
