Buy Tickets

City Market : 705 Gervais Street, Columbia, SC 29201

Join us for dinner to explore the relationship of Jewish and Southern Cooking traditions and the stories of their intersection, the same topic covered on Kugels & Collards, a food blog born out of the Columbia Jewish Heritage Initiative of Historic Columbia.

Aligning with the theme of the blog, this four-course dinner will feature the cuisine of Hillary Sterling and Fany Gerson, two Jewish chefs from New York City and Lissadell Cohen-Serrins and Kristian Neimi, two chefs who found their culinary voice through southern cuisine.

Proceeds from the dinner will support the Columbia Jewish Heritage Initiative, which documents the story of Jewish families and their contributions to South Carolina’s capital city.

  • CJHI

The Columbia Jewish Heritage Initiative (CJHI) was establised in 2014. The initiative documents as well as provides access to and awareness of local Jewish history.
