Robert Mills Carriage House : 1616 Blanding St., Columbia, SC 29201

Traditionally, fall is the time of year that we are told we should be “putting our garden to bed,” but the mild winters of South Carolina offer an excellent opportunity to enjoy your yard and garden. There are many plants that can be included in your landscape to provide color and interest using foliage, form, and even flowers! Guests will tour the gardens of Historic Columbia with special emphasis on the conifers and broadleaf evergreens and their successful incorporation into the landscape. This will be followed by a propagation session utilizing several of the evergreen species from our gardens.
