The SC Council on the Holocaust acknowledges and highlights International Holocaust Remembrance Day, designated by The United Nations General Assembly to commemorate the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1945, at this event on January 28, the 75th anniversary of the liberation. The event will remember the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and millions of other victims of Nazism. The keynote speaker is Elisha Wiesel, an American businessman and the only child of author, Nobel Peace Laureate, and Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel.
