Help us release thousands of ladybugs into the Hampton-Preston Gardens during Historic Columbia’s first ever ladybug release! Ladybugs help control other small, more harmful insects, like aphids, and are a great and environmentally friendly way to keep gardens healthy! The event will be held from 10:00am – 12:00pm, and the ladybug release will take place between 10:00-11:00am. This event will feature timed entries to ensure proper social distancing.
Make sure to stick around after you’ve released your lady bugs and learn more about how these insects can help the environment with fun crafts and activities! Advance registration is required to participate, and children must be companied by an adult.
