Gervais Street Bridge
Columbia’s most iconic bridge funnels traffic into the Vista from the west. Constructed between 1926 and 1928, this 1415-foot, reinforced concrete span once bore the distinction of being the only way within the city to cross the Congaree River. Numerous postcards attest to the attractive structure’s popularity.
