Singley Apartments
Completed in 1940, this two-story, hollow tile and stucco apartment residence was designed by Heyward S. Singley, president of the South Carolina chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Each apartment was five or six rooms and considered "very modern and attractive." It now houses many University of South Carolina students due of its close location to campus.
