1613 Crestwood Drive
Built in early 1928 by J. Frank Bailey, Inc., this residence was purchased by James W. and Ruth C. Abney in June of that year. At the time, WWI veteran James “Jim” Abney was the manager of the wholesale lumber business Abney Lumber Corporation, chartered in 1925. The Abneys sold the house in 1931.
