Behind-the-Scenes Tour at 1216-1218 Taylor Street

1216 Taylor Street, Columbia, SC 29201

Check out the Columbia Historic Commercial District’s latest Historic Tax Credit rehabilitation – 1216-1218 Taylor Street! Built in 1915, these buildings have historically hosted everything from grocery stores, a bakery, a sporting goods store, and two toy stores. Following rehabilitation, they will offer retail and residential space, courtesy of LTC Associates Architects and Pyramid Contracting. Learn about the transformation first-hand from those who played key roles in this latest transformation by Columbia’s Middleton family.

This event is exclusively for HC members. If you are not yet a member of Historic Columbia, learn more here.

Tours will take place on Thursday, March 9, 2023, beginning at 5:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. Each tour lasts approximately 30 minutes, with complimentary food and beverages will be available courtesy of our friends at Peak Drift Brewing Co and Good Life Cafe. Tickets are $35, and each tour can only accommodate 20 people. Please confirm your tour time at checkout.

Please note no refunds are available once the day of the tour has arrived. If you miss your scheduled tour time, we cannot guarantee a space on another tour.

Please choose a tour time to purchase tickets.
