University Hill Walking Tour

Tour begins at The Graduate Hotel : 1619 Pendleton Street, Columbia, SC 29201

Join Historic Columbia on the second Sunday of September for a stroll through the University Hill neighborhood. This National Register historic district features former and current residences with a mix of architectural styles that have been greatly influenced and impacted by the eastward expansion of the University of South Carolina. The tour will last approximately 75 minutes and begin and end at The Graduate Hotel. 

  • Tickets

    Only 20 tickets are available for each Sunday Stroll. Online ticket sales end on Friday, September 9, 2023, at 3:00 p.m.

    HC: $5 
    Non-member: $10 
    Youth: Under 17 free 

  • Parking

    Metered street parking along Pendleton Street is free on Sundays. Please do not park on a street where permit-only signage is posted. This tour includes standing and walking approximately 1.2 miles on neighborhood sidewalks. 

  • Refunds

    This tour will take place rain or shine. However, if there are thunderstorms in the neighborhood the tour will be canceled, and you will be contacted to receive either a refund or a ticket for a future Second Sunday Stroll. If the tour proceeds as planned, no refunds will be offered.
